Qualifications

* Post secondary degree or diploma in journalism or equivalent work experience
* A science degree is an asset. Clinical writing requires attending conferences and reading reports involving high-level scientific study results and producing journalism out of that for our highly educated audience, doctors.
* Strong math skills.
* 5 years of writing/editing experience, preferably with a medical or health-related focus
* Strong writing, editing, research and proofreading skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to flourish within a dedicated, hardworking team
* Ability to manage time and assignments well in a multi-deadline environment
* Ability to deliver content to print and electronic media
* Working in a Macintosh-based environment, knowledge of Adobe InCopy and WordPress would be valuable.
* Knowledge of CP style
